Ethiopia is landlocked. Nearly everything the country buys from or sells to the world moves through the Port of Djibouti, then along one road inland — through Jigjiga to Addis Ababa. Sahid Business Group is built along that road: not nine unrelated businesses, but one system with a direction.

01What comes in
Goods and fuel land at the ports of Djibouti and Berbera. Bushra General Trading FZCO runs this leg — free-zone operations in Djibouti, fuel storage at Berbera Port, and supply chains across Djibouti, Somalia and Kenya.
02What gets made
In Jigjiga, Sahid MI Engineering turns steel into heavy trucks, fuel and water tankers, trailers and storage tanks — a 10-hectare factory with capacity for twenty heavy trucks a month. Sahid Metal Factory, in development, will take the group further upstream into metal production itself.
03What fuels it
Elelle Petroleum distributes diesel, petrol, lubricants and LPG through more than 53 branded stations, backed by a 1,000,000-litre fuel depot.
04What moves
Sahid Transport hauls cargo, fuel and water with a fleet of more than 70 heavy trucks — operating since 2013 across the Ethiopia, Djibouti and Somaliland corridors.
05What goes out
Egan General Trading sends Ethiopian produce the other way: specialty coffee, oilseeds, pulses and cereals, from owned farms and partner farmers, farm gate to port to global markets.
06What rises beside it
Jigjiga Royal Real Estate builds premium homes on 22+ hectares facing the Somali Regional Presidential Palace, Mubarak General Hospital prepares for inauguration on 15 hectares, and Sahid Hotels serves Gode and Garbo.
